Atlanta 2025

Welcome to Atlanta, the City in a forest. We are incredibly excited to bring a new LGBTQIA+ amateur sports tournament to our amazing city. Below the Belt Sports was founded in 2024. Our goal is to bring LGBTQIA+ tournaments to the South and make a difference in our community. The Cup is hosted annually in the Fall, and consists of sports such a Kickball, Dodgeball, and Indoor Volleyball. On top of it all, we have some amazing parties and philanthropic opportunities. Get ready for a weekend of sports, community, and above all else, fun!

Community

We are community-driven and working with local bar and LGTBQIA+ establishments to foster a community of inclusivity and involvement with our local players, in hope to create a welcoming environment for all of the players who will travel to host cities.

Philanthropy

As a 501c(3) our intent is to turn our efforts into a major financial impact on local beneficiaries that support and uplift the local LGBTQIA+ community in cities where Below the Belt Sports leagues, tournaments, or events are hosted.

Sports

We are excited to host a variety of tournament sports including kickball, dodgeball, and indoor volleyball. Our tournaments are designed to provide the perfect blend of competition and fun, allowing players to showcase their athletic skills while enjoying the camaraderie of their teammates and opponents alike.

We’re not just about sports. We’re about fun. Our board of directors work closely with local venues to host engaging and fun events that will make a memorable experience for all those who attend. We are already in talks with major venues for our 2025 tournament weekend.

Our goal is to create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone can come together and compete. We believe that sports have the power to bring people together, and we are excited to bring this tournament to the South.
